EFEKTIFITAS KOMBINASI ULTRASOUND DAN MAITLAND MOBILIZATION ATAU KALTENBORN MOBILIZATION TERHADAP PERUBAHAN NYERI DAN RANGE OF MOTION SHOULDER PADA PENDERITA FROZEN SHOULDER DI RSAD TK. II PELAMONIA MAKASSAR

Abstract


ABSTRAK

 

Latar belakang : Frozen Shoulder yang biasa dikenal sebagai bahu beku atau adhesive capsulitis adalah inflamasi synovium dan fibrosis pada kapsul sendi yang menyebabkan hilangnya mobilitas sendi bahu yang dapat menyebabkan nyeri dan keterbatasan gerak sendi terutama exsternal rotasi, abduksi dan internal rotasi shoulder.

Metode : Penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain randomized pre test - post test two group, bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas antara kombinasi Ultrasund, Maitland Mobilization dan Ultrasound, Kaltenborn Mobilization terhadap perubahan nyeri dan ROM shoulder pada penderita frozen shoulder. dilaksanakan di Poli Fisioterapi RSAD Tk.II Pelamonia Makassar dengan sampel sebanyak 18 orang yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi, di randomisasi kedalam 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok perlakuan 1 yang diberikan Ultrasound dan Maitland Mobilization dan kelompok perlakuan 2 yang diberikan Ultrasound dan Kaltenborn Mobilization.

Hasil : Berdasarkan analisis uji  paired sample t diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 untuk semua kelompok data (VAS, ROM external-internal rotasi, dan abduksi) baik pada kelompok perlakuan 1 dan 2, yang berarti bahwa ada pengaruh yang bermakna kombinasi Ultrasound dan Maitland Mobilization serta Ultrasound dan Kaltenborn Mobilization terhadap perubahan nyeri dan ROM shoulder. Kemudian, berdasarkan uji independent t diperoleh nilai p = 0,144 untuk nyeri dan ROM external rotasi, nilai p = 0,386 untuk abduksi, nilai p = 0,852 internal rotasi, yang berarti bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok perlakuan 1 dan 2.

Kesimpulan : Kombinasi Ultrasound dan Maitland Mobilization tidak lebih efektif daripada kombinasi Ultrasound dan Kaltenborn Mobilization dalam menghasilkan perubahan nyeri dan ROM shoulder pada penderita frozen shoulder.
